About the role
Medical Administrator & Receptionist at Maretimo Medical (Centric Health) – The Promenade, Upper Salthill Road, Salthill, Co Galway, H91 EW68. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative and reception support to both staff and patients and will be the first point of contact, playing a key role in delivering excellent patient care while ensuring smooth daily operations.

Job Details
Contract: Permanent Part‑Time
Hours: 16 hours per week
Working pattern: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (09:00 am to 01:00 pm)
Commencement date: As soon as possible
Location: The Promenade, Upper Salthill Road, Salthill, Co Galway, H91 EW68
Responsibilities
Answer incoming calls and redirect as appropriate
Manage patient appointments
Meet and greet all patients to the practice
Cash handling and issuing receipts
Maintain GMS records
Prepare prescriptions
Scan and file documents
Perform any other duties assigned by the Practice Manager or GP
Requirements
1–2 years of administration/reception/customer service experience
Experience working in a fast‑paced environment
Excellent interpersonal, communication and telephone skills
Strong multitasking skills
Computer literate in Word, Excel and e‑mail
Team player with initiative
Excellent organisational skills
Flexible attitude to changing work practices
Excellent written and spoken English
