Quality Manager - P recision Engineering - Dungarvan, Waterford Office/Project Location: Dungarvan, Waterford Employment Type: Permanent Work Location: Office Based / Hybrid Pay: Salary Negotiable Experience : 5+ years Visa : EU passport or Stamp 4 visa required Our client is an Irish precision engineering based, contract manufacturer and supply chain manager for global blue-chip OEM's in the Semiconductor and Medical Equipment sectors and a portfolio of other leading industrials.
This role will be central to providing the required quality assurance and maintaining our excellent customer relationships.
Role reports to the Chief Executive and is a member of the Leadership Team.
Liaising with customer and suppliers on quality related issues.
Maintaining and updating the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016.
Organising and hosting, customer and certification audits.
This will include responsibility for ensuring audit findings are actioned and resolved.
Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Raising, monitoring and controlling company's CAPA system.
Organising immediate actions, determining root causes, implementing corrective actions and validating effectiveness.
Measurement and analysis of processes, setting objectives and continually aiming to improve effectiveness and process performance.
Managing QA team and liaising with all colleagues, with overall responsibility that products and services meet customer expectations.
Ensuring that all functions of the QA Department meet with customer and regulatory requirements.
