Box Office Supervisor Job Description
This role is a pivotal, customer-facing position within our organization. The principal responsibility of this position is to ensure the smooth running of the Box Office while supporting key projects and supervising the Sales Team.
Key Responsibilities:
* To provide front-line service and process ticket sales and refunds for personal and telephone callers, ensuring efficient, courteous, and effective interactions.
* To assist customers with general enquiries about facilities, events, and activities, being familiar with all information pertaining to current and future performances.
* To support the Box Office Manager with day-to-day functions including group/sports and social bookings, reporting, and issuing Agency Tickets as requested.
* To assist with uploading event information to Ticketsolve and ensuring accuracy of data.
* To oversee reservations status and convert them to confirmed bookings.
* To perform usual box office cashier duties, including daily cash reconciliation.
* To maintain accurate customer records on the ticketing system.
* To supervise the Sales Team in the absence of the Box Office Manager.
* To support new team members with training and knowledge sharing.
* To collaborate with the Box Office Manager on various projects as needed.
