About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Professional to join our team. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers across your designated region.

Main Responsibilities:

* Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences through regular meetings and interactions.
* Identify new business opportunities and work closely with customers to develop tailored solutions that meet their requirements.
* Utilize CRM software to track daily activities, projects, and market trends to inform sales strategies.
* Effectively communicate market insights and customer feedback to management and other stakeholders.
* Assist in the compilation of sales reports, prepare agendas for customer meetings, and ensure thorough preparation for all customer-facing interactions.
* Maintain up-to-date CRM records and plan customer meetings in advance.
* Provide regular sales progress updates through weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales meetings.
* Support marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness and drive business growth.
* Attend industry events, conferences, and exhibitions as required.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is desirable.
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in B2B sales with a proven track record of achievement.
* Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets is essential.
* A strong working knowledge of farming, agriculture, and equine industries is beneficial but not mandatory.
* The ideal candidate will be based in Munster and have excellent communication skills.
* Commercial acumen and merchandising expertise.
* Fluency in English, both verbal and written, and a full clean driving license is essential.
* Advanced negotiation and selling skills.
* Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
* Strong analytical problem-solving skills required.
* Proficiency in MS Platforms, CRM, ERP, and administration tasks.
* Time management and task prioritization skills.
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
* Customer-focused approach.
