The CompanyThis privately owned technology manufacturing client is part of a wider Irish-owned family office with a diverse portfolio of businesses across multiple sectors. The organisation takes a hands-on approach to strategic investment, operational excellence, and long-term growth across its European business network.The RolePrepare detailed analysis on the investment portfolio, including monthly management reports, performance dashboards, and KPI insights for senior stakeholders.Conduct market analysis on the sectors in which portfolio companies operate.Review and report on key initiatives across investments, such as capital allocation, M&A, R&D, and restructuring.Assess business cases and coordinate post-investment appraisals.Partner with Finance Directors of specific portfolio companies to support strategic initiatives.Ensure accurate and timely month-end close processes, reconciliations, and variance analysis, & prepare weekly management reports and cashflow forecasts.Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.Travel periodically to group subsidiaries across Europe to collaborate with local teams.Report directly to the Head of Finance.The PersonACA or ACCA qualified, with 2-4 years' PQE.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Background in audit or corporate finance; experience in manufacturing is advantageous.Strong Excel proficiency; familiarity with consolidation systems such as Oracle Hyperion, FCCS, D365, or Navision is a plus.Experience with Power BI and financial modelling preferred.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.Fluency in French, German, or Spanish (written and spoken) is a plus.
