Project Manager Wanted for Large Scale Projects
A Project Manager is needed to join a highly respected international multi-disciplinary consultancy in Cork. The role involves working on large scale projects and comes with excellent career progression opportunities.
The successful candidate will report to Associates as well as company Directors. Key responsibilities include: managing multi-discipline roads, active travel and site development schemes; contract and commercial management; preliminary design of projects including active travel, urban and rural road schemes, pavement rehabilitation etc.
Requirements include an Honours Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent. The successful candidate should have 5+ years post graduate Civil Engineering experience within an engineering consultancy in Ireland or the UK. They will be experienced in relevant design standards including detailed knowledge of TII technical standards / DMURS etc. Knowledge of relevant forms of contract including Irish Conditions of Engagement for Consultancy Services, Public Works Contract, NEC etc is also required. Experience across multiple stages of the project life cycle including feasibility, planning, design, tender and construction is essential.
As Project Manager, you should have the ability to achieve successful commercial management of projects, including costs and time. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
