Project Leader
About the Opportunity:
The successful candidate will lead the planning phase of onshore wind and solar projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Planning: Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and resources for onshore wind and solar projects.
* Consultant Management: Procure and manage external consultants, including planning consultants, ecologists, and other technical specialists.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Support communications and interactions with external stakeholders such as local communities, landowners, and planning authorities.
* Risk Management: Collaborate with the internal development team to identify potential risks and assess proposals for risk mitigation.
* Progress Monitoring: Monitor project progress and report on key milestones and deliverables to the Internal Team and Senior Management.
* Industry Expertise: Collect and share industry information with the team.
* Technical Input: Provide technical input into investment committee interactions throughout the investment cycle.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in the renewable energy or planning sector.
* A bachelor's degree in Ecology, Planning, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
* Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of Planning and Environmental Impact Assessments process for onshore wind projects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Problem-Solving Skills: Detail-oriented and proactive.
* Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
