As a Counter Sales Representative, you will be the key point of contact for customers, handling their requests promptly and courteously.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a retail or customer service environment and possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and customers alike.
The ideal candidate will also have strong product knowledge, excellent multitasking skills, and the ability to balance daily takings accurately.
Responsibilities:
* Greeting and Customer Service: Greet customers and handle their requests in a prompt and courteous manner.
* Merchandise Display: Maintain merchandise displays in the counter sales area and ensure a clean and neat work environment.
* Reporting: Report any customer complaints to the relevant manager.
* Computer System: Understand and utilize the computer system to access information, enter orders, credits, back orders, etc.
* Training: Participate in product and procedural training as requested by the relevant manager.
* Cash Handling: Balance and be accountable for the daily takings.
* Cross-Training: Participate in cross-training in other department functions to allow for upskilling and providing coverage to other areas.
Requirements:
* Previous Experience: Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment is desirable but not required.
* Skills and Qualifications: Attention to detail, positive attitude, team player with excellent communication skills.
* Technical Skills: Knowledge and experience of using CRM systems, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Multitasking: Excellent multi-tasking skills.
