We are seeking a dynamic, experienced
Conference Events Manager
to join our senior management team. This role is central to the planning, coordination, and delivery of exceptional events across our venues. From high-energy concerts and lively festivals to corporate gatherings and banquets, you will ensure every event is flawlessly executed from concept to completion.

This role is ideal for a senior hotel manager seeking a new challenge or an experienced events professional ready to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities
Candidate Profile
Essential

* Event Planning & Coordination
* Lead advance planning and coordination of all events across Gleneagle venues.
* Liaise with clients and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics and seamless execution.
* Manage vendor and contractor relationships, permit applications, and stakeholder communications.
* Develop and oversee event budgets, staff rosters, deployment schedules, and detailed event plans.
* Ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety (H&S), legislative, and ISO standards.
* Event Delivery
* Oversee and manage live event operations, acting as Event Controller for major Arena events.
* Coordinate cross-departmental teams to ensure smooth event execution.
* Act as the primary on-site contact for event stakeholders and clients during events.
* Venue Maintenance & Safety
* Oversee the preventative maintenance and operational readiness of the Gleneagle Arena and associated venues.
* Ensure safety compliance and risk management protocols are upheld for all events, safeguarding staff, performers, and patrons.
* Festival Development & Execution

* Coordinate, plan, and deliver a calendar of festivals throughout the year.

* Play a key role in conceptualizing and launching new festival experiences.
* Minimum of 4 years' experience managing large-scale entertainment and/or corporate events.
* Proven track record of leadership and effective team management.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and administrative processes.
* Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and remain calm under pressure.
* In-depth knowledge of H&S regulations and risk management in a live event environment.

Desirable

* Level 7 qualification in Event Management or a related field.
* Experience working within a hospitality or multi-venue setting.
