This role will give you a good foundation in technical and the company offers excellent opportunities to progress within a fast-growing food manufacturing group.As Q.A Technician your main role will be:Carry out verification audits of Good Manufacturing Practices, Internal Systems, Production Environment and Productions ProcessesCarry out hygiene swabbing and line release swabs.Co-ordinating Non-Compliance Corrective actions.Assist in Customer & Certification audits and visits.Provide Technical guidance and support to other departments (particularly Production / Hygiene / Engineering), encouraging understanding and awareness. Provide specific training as required.Participation in operational problem solving, technical / hygiene problem solving, and project work as allocated.Monitor traceability systemsLog temperatures and monitor temperature control.Requirements:Preferably a third level qualification in a food science, food technology or science related subject or if you have gained experience in a similar role and gained on the job training certified to EQF level 5 or equivalent.A passionate "foodie"Robust personality who will cope in a FMCG production environment with the ability to focus in a busy office.Ability to build good working relationships with all departments and at all levels within the organisation.An understanding of quality & technical responsibilities in chilled and frozen production.High attention to detail with good communications skills including written & spoken English.
