Job Description
* Supervise and coordinate plumbing teams on-site.
* Complete first fix plumbing works and obtain all necessary test certifications.
* Create a second fix task list and provide an estimated completion date.
* Monitor and address any site issues that may impact project completion.
* Communicate project updates and variations to the Contracts Manager.
* Liaise with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders as needed.
* Monitor project progress and ensure high-quality standards are maintained.
* Adhere to all Environmental, Health, Safety & Quality (EHSQ) policies and procedures.
* Advise management on potential hazards related to equipment operation.
* Supervise and train apprentices in installation, maintenance, and repair tasks.
* Interpret blueprints or prepare sketches to determine equipment placement and ensure compliance with building and safety codes.
* Use a range of tools and equipment, including power tools, measuring devices, and testing instruments.
* Perform administrative duties such as maintaining records, preparing reports, and ordering materials.
* Mark up circuits and drawings to reflect actual installations.
* Work at height using ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install or repair systems.
* Carry out physically demanding tasks, including trench digging and lifting heavy objects.
* Schedule work activities and lead small teams to complete tasks within set timeframes.
* Anticipate material needs and coordinate procurement in line with project timelines.
* Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, heating, and sanitation.
Qualifications
* Fully qualified plumber (National Craft Certificate or equivalent).
* Minimum 5 years' experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
* Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.
* RGI certification (preferred).
* Strong understanding of domestic and commercial plumbing systems.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
* Full clean driving licence.
