Health Safety Expertise Sought
We are seeking a skilled Health and Safety professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating health and safety initiatives across the organisation and contributing to policy development to mitigate potential risks.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and safety, with experience in the civils construction sector and NEBOSH certification. They will be able to build effective relationships with stakeholders, demonstrate excellent organisation and communication skills, and work efficiently under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver health and safety contracts and policies
* Ensure regular inspections of projects are undertaken in accordance with agreements and report any action points
* Organise daily workload and routes to ensure all projects within the business portfolio are visited within a set time period
* Complete inspection reports to a high standard and upload them to relevant parties
* Work alongside Contracts Managers and Project Managers to recommend prioritised actions for safety improvements
Requirements:
* NEBOSH certification
* Excellent organisation and communication skills
* Ability to build rapport quickly and easily with diverse groups of stakeholders
* Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
* Ability to work under pressure
* Confident use of Microsoft Office
