About the Role

We're hiring a Technical Sales Engineer with a background in architecture, engineering, or construction who is looking to apply their technical expertise in a client-facing, commercially oriented role. While prior sales experience is beneficial, it's not required - what matters most is your technical understanding, confidence in communication, and willingness to travel to support projects across Ireland.

This is a key role where you'll be the link between clients and our technical solutions team, guiding customers through the specification, design, and implementation of high-performance building systems.

Key Responsibilities

* Act as a technical advisor to architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants, offering tailored support on product selection and specification.
* Visit project sites and customer locations to provide in-person support, build relationships, and deliver technical presentations.
* Identify client needs and work collaboratively to provide energy-efficient, code-compliant, and cost-effective solutions.
* Support the sales process by responding to technical inquiries, assisting with proposals, and helping to convert opportunities into successful projects.
* Deliver CPDs, lunch & learn sessions, and on-site product demonstrations.
* Stay up to date on the latest industry standards, certifications (e.g., Passive House, NZEB), and construction trends.
* Work closely with internal sales, technical, and logistics teams to ensure smooth project execution.
* Travel regularly to meet clients and visit active project sites.

What We're Looking For

* 3-5 years' professional experience in architecture, engineering, building design, or construction.
* A degree in Architecture, Engineering, Building Science, or a related field.
* A natural communicator who is confident, outgoing, and comfortable engaging with clients and presenting technical information.
* Interest or experienced in sales, account management, or business development (preferred but not required).
* Strong technical problem-solving ability and commercial awareness.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Comfortable working independently, managing time, and taking initiative.
* Full clean driver's license - regular travel is a core part of this role.
