About The Role

We have a huge hire fleet of equipment, so excellent product knowledge across a wide range of products is essential. We support our Sales Teams with excellent product training, professional development, and ongoing support.
We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager to join the team and develop and grow the business through leadership and management of the Sales team.
Reporting to our Director, you’ll ensure sales plans are in place to meet national and regional targets, monitor team and individual performance, and manage resources and expenditure in line with budgets. You’ll collaborate closely with Service Centre and Operational Managers to maximize opportunities.
As a great people manager and motivator, you’ll drive performance and uphold high professional standards within your team by fostering a supportive and empowering environment. You must have the drive and desire to maintain and develop our successful and growing business.

To succeed, you should have:
* Experience managing high-performance sales teams
* Strong influencing and negotiation skills
* Networking skills to engage stakeholders at all levels
* A customer-focused approach with market understanding and ability to analyze commercial data
* Motivation to achieve challenging targets in a demanding environment
* Field sales management experience in the plant hire or construction industry (preferred)
* A full clean UK driving license
The role is based from the nearest Service Centre, involving regional and occasional national travel and overnight stays.
