Main Purpose of the Job:
Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction is the number one priority. You will demonstrate a passion for quality food, manage queues, ensuring each customer receives an exceptional customer experience. At the checkouts you are responsible for greeting every customer as if it was their first time in the store, while also actively managing queues.
Main Duties:
* Always ensure that customer satisfaction is the number one priority by greeting each customer as if it's their first visit to the store and consistently deliver an exceptional service by displaying I-CARE service excellence behaviours;
* At checkout ensure all transactions are dealt with in a speedy and efficient manner;
* Actively manage queues;
* When on the tills, ensure all till procedures are followed correctly;
* Report any scanning issues at the checkouts to the Store Manager;
* Keep up-to-date with the offers, promotion and product ranges in Store;
* Offer advice, information and make personal recommendations to customers where relevant;
* When on the checkout, offer a receipt at the end of each transaction;
* Show a positive attitude and take responsibility for ensuring customers receive an excellent shopping experience;
* Deal with all customer queries and complaints politely, professionally and consistent with store policy;
* Carry out stock rotation when merchandising and packing shelves, ensuring that all areas of the store in which you are operating are presented to the highest standard;
