Occupational Therapist Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to work in a collaborative environment, delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to children (0-18 years) with physical, sensory, intellectual, and learning disabilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working directly with children and families to support independence, participation, and everyday living. They will also collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including Speech & Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, and Social Workers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive assessment and planning of occupational therapy programmes tailored to individual needs
* Deliver evidence-based care, guided by the Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP)
* Participate in regular team meetings to ensure coordinated care and goal setting
* Maintain professional standards in assessment, documentation, reporting, and service delivery
* Stay up-to-date with best practice, adhering to HSE policies, HIQA standards, and Progressing Disabilities Programme guidelines
* Foster an inclusive work environment, promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in practice and the workplace
Essential Requirements:
* BSc in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent recognised qualification)
* CORU registration as an Occupational Therapist
* Previous experience working with Paediatrics (desirable)
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A valid full driving licence and access to a car
