Health & Safety Manager - Multi-Site | Cork | Brand New Role Our client, a long-established Irish business operating for over 125 years, is recruiting a Health & Safety Manager for a newly created position.
This is a stand-alone role overseeing Health & Safety across four sites and approximately 170 employees.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Managing Director.

You will play a key role in shaping and embedding a strong safety culture across the group.
The Role As Health & Safety Manager, you will develop, lead, and implement a comprehensive Health & Safety function from the ground up.
You will have full responsibility for ensuring compliance, driving best practice, and promoting a proactive and engaged safety culture across the organisation.
Responsibilities include: Develop and implement a Group Health & Safety strategy aligned with ISO45001 Carry out risk assessments and develop safe systems of work Ensure compliance with legislation and industry best practice Monitor and improve site safety, including vehicle movement, pedestrian segregation, storage practices, and space management Maintain and update all H&S documentation, including policies, procedures and risk registers Liaise with auditors, insurers, regulatory bodies and external agencies Engage, train and support staff at all levels to drive awareness and accountability About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: 5+ years' experience in a similar Health & Safety role, preferably within logistics, distribution, warehousing, or manufacturing A relevant Health & Safety qualification (Higher Diploma in Occupational H&S, IOSH or equivalent) Strong IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and H&S reporting systems Full driving licence with willingness to travel between sites Experience managing Health & Safety across multiple locations The ability to work independently and confidently in a stand-alone role Interested?
