Safety Manager Role
As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of safety, health, environmental and quality are maintained across our operations. This involves implementing and overseeing all aspects of safety, health, environmental and quality policies, conducting site inspections, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company standards.
This role requires a proactive approach to risk management and a commitment to creating a safe working environment for all employees and subcontractors. Key responsibilities include:
* Leading the charge on maintaining high safety, health, environmental and quality standards.
* Developing and implementing improved EHSQ practices, policies and procedures.
* Maintaining a working knowledge of all applicable legislation.
* Promoting employee awareness/training for EHSQ and a proactive EHSQ approach/attitude among all employees.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a BSc in Health and Safety or related field, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the construction industry. Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant certifications (e.g., Safe Pass, Manual Handling) is also required.
