Senior Quantity Surveyor Civils & Water Projects (Dublin) A Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong experience in civil engineering and water infrastructure is required to join a Tier 1 civil and utilities contractor delivering major infrastructure and water projects across Dublin.Read all the information about this opportunity carefully, then use the application button below to send your CV and application.This is an excellent opportunity to take a lead commercial role on large-scale public and private sector schemes, working on complex civils and water infrastructure projects within a highly respected main contractor environment.Role: Take full commercial responsibility for civils and water infrastructure projects from pre-contract through to final account.Lead the preparation of cost plans, budgets, and tender returns.Manage subcontractor procurement, valuations, variations, and final accounts.Prepare and agree interim applications, change control, and commercial reporting.Monitor and control project costs, cash flow, and financial performance.Provide commercial advice to Project Managers and senior project teams.Lead contract administration and commercial risk management.Produce and present monthly cost value reconciliation (CVR) reports and forecasts.Mentor and support Junior and Intermediate Quantity Surveyors within the team.Requirements: 6+ years experience in a Quantity Surveying role in Ireland.Strong background with a main contractor on civil engineering, utilities, and/or water projects.Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.Excellent knowledge of standard forms of contract (Public Works, NEC, etc.).Proven ability to manage large packages and full project commercial cycles.Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.Highly proficient in MS Excel and commercial management systems.Full clean driving licence.Right to work in ROI.Package: Salary circa €85k€95k (DOE) Excellent benefits package Clear pathway to Commercial Manager / Managing QS level If you are a Senior Quantity Surveyor considering a career move, please feel free to send your CV or contact Amy Maguire for a confidential discussion, or email your CV to.GPC will not send any applicants CVs to clients without a full discussion and prior consent.
