The role of a Lead Child Development Specialist involves comprehensive assessments, tailored formulation, and evidence-based treatment of young people's psychological needs. As part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of speech therapists, occupational therapists, educational psychologists, and clinical psychologists, tasks include cognitive assessments, emotional/behavioural evaluations, dyslexia and dyscalculia assessments, multi-disciplinary team ASD assessments, behaviour support plans, parent consultations, and individual therapy sessions.
Candidate profile: Registration with the relevant professional body is required, preferably as a chartered member.
