As Assistant Quality Manager, you will be responsible for providing support to the Quality department on day-to-day tasks, working closely with the Quality Manager to investigate and resolve customer quality queries, facilitate the success of continuous improvement teams, and identify trends in quality issues before they become a problem.
Key Responsibilities:
* Quality Management: Creating and updating reports as requested by the Quality Manager, managing internal and external OFI Support, and leading and hosting BSI and customer audits.
* Continuous Improvement: Working with the management team and operations teams to set up continuous improvement actions, progress chasing CAPAs, OFIs, and internal audit systems.
* Team Support: Providing support and mentoring to the QC team, including managing annual leave and hours worked.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a Quality role at a senior supervisor or entry management level.
* Knowledge of relevant standards (ISO 9001:2015, PS9000) and industry guidelines.
* Experience in manufacturing/production environment with knowledge of Industry standards and guidelines.
* Supervisory experience and change management skills.
