Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity for an Engagement Specialist to drive our approach to community engagement at an earlier stage in project development. As part of this role, you will:
* Develop and execute project communication, consultation, and engagement plans on assigned projects.
* Oversee the management of the consultation process for assigned projects, ensuring clarity and tone of consultations and correspondence with stakeholders.
* Drive our enhanced approach to community engagement and feed into cross-departmental activities to strengthen and inform the ongoing brand management strategy and complement the external communications strategy.
* Develop and drive the implementation of our engagement strategy and manage a range of engagement events and initiatives.
* Utilise your existing network and experience in the delivery of engagement initiatives.
* Proactively identify communications and engagement issues and mitigate risks.
* Communicate effectively to customers and business stakeholders, including senior management team, via meetings, presentations, and reports.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* A degree in Business/ Communications/PR or Marketing, with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience.
* Experience in external communications via social media platforms and experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
* An understanding of the energy sector would be beneficial.
