Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical and Instrumentation Project Lead to oversee critical shutdowns across a facility, ensuring all electrical and instrumentation tasks are completed safely and efficiently during turnaround projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and define the scope for turnaround E&I projects to meet objectives
- Develop and manage detailed job plans and schedules, estimate costs for budgeting purposes
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Act as the principal liaison between the turnaround team and maintenance E&I staff
- Lead interactive planning sessions and risk reviews
- Oversee daily progress during execution, addressing any issues quickly and efficiently
- Manage resources effectively, ensuring adequate staffing and equipment
- Document all phases of planning and execution using digital tools
- Review and implement improvements from past projects for continuous enhancement
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering or a related field, or a strong trades background in E&I
- Proven experience in a similar role, particularly in turnaround projects or maintenance planning
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with project management software
- Excellent communication skills for effective liaison and reporting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
