This is an opportunity to make a real impact at one of the world's most diverse and influential organizations.Role OverviewAs a Legal Compliance Specialist, you will handle critical tasks supporting the Global Privacy and Legal Compliance department. You will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and fulfilling requests from legal and regulatory authorities seeking access to specific data. You will also serve as a representative of the company's official stance on data protection and privacy standards.The Specialist manages high-volume, standard inquiries while identifying and escalating complex or urgent matters. We are looking for a self-motivated, dependable professional who can resolve issues with precision and speed.Key ResponsibilitiesRequest Management: Process and evaluate formal inquiries from legal authorities and individual data-subject requests for personal information.Data Retrieval: Utilize internal technical systems to search for and extract relevant information required for compliance responses.Standardized Reporting: Draft and issue formal responses using established templates and protocols for routine inquiries.Case Escalation: Proactively identify high-priority, emergency, or non-routine cases and route them to senior management for review.Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous logs of all actions, responses, and unique issues within the secure internal database.Key Skills & QualificationsTechnical Proficiency: Strong aptitude for navigating complex software applications and databases with a high degree of data accuracy.Critical Thinking: Excellent judgment with the ability to distinguish between routine tasks and high-risk scenarios that require immediate escalation.Communication: Effective interpersonal skills and the initiative to resolve conflicts or discrepancies in request documentation.Discretion & Security: Proven ability to thrive in a sensitive information environment while adhering to strict security, privacy, and data protection protocols.Language Skills: Full professional fluency in English (written and verbal).
