About the role:

We are seeking an organised, detail‑focused Internal Audit Compliance Assistant to support our internal audit function. This is an ideal role for a recent graduate or early‑career professional who enjoys structure, documentation, and working with established processes. You will carry out routine internal checks, document findings, and help ensure that teams across the business are following our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Location : Newbridge, Co. Kildare.

This Role comes with a salary of €35,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct routine internal audits using existing SOPs, checklists, and audit templates
* Record audit results accurately and maintain audit logs and documentation
* Prepare draft audit reports for review by a senior manager
* Follow up on corrective actions and update tracking sheets
* Assist with SOP updates, version control, and document management
* Support compliance activities such as training record checks and documentation reviews
* Escalate issues or non‑conformances appropriately
* Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying small process gaps or inconsistencies

Experience and qualifications –

* Business degree or related discipline (required)
* 1–2 years' experience in administration, operations, quality, compliance, or similar (advantageous but not essential)
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Highly organised with a structured approach to work
* Comfortable following checklists, templates, and defined processes
* Objective, disciplined, and able to maintain confidentiality
* Good communication skills, especially in written documentation
* Ability to work independently with guidance and support
* Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, SharePoint or similar)
