Job Opportunity for a Residential Care Manager
This is an exciting new opportunity to join a reputable service in Greystones, Wicklow, as a Residential Care Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing two residential services supporting young people.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social care and management, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory/management capacity. They will also possess a qualification in health/social care or be in the process of obtaining this qualification.
The role requires the ability to make sound judgments and decisions based on current legislation, best practice, and individual circumstances. Additionally, the candidate should have an ability to assess situations and act appropriately, using analytical and problem-solving processes that best meet the needs of the service and those we support.
Key qualifications include:
* QQI Level 7 BA in Applied Social Studies, Social Care or equivalent
* A management qualification in Health/Social Care or be in the process of obtaining this qualification
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory/management capacity
The successful candidate will be required to hold a full clean driving license and have access to a car. This position offers a range of benefits, including:
