We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Community Mental Health Team in Dublin. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention to adults in an acute mental health setting.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing comprehensive OT assessments and evidence-based interventions to adults in an acute mental health setting.
* Managing your caseload and assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating treatment programmes for service users according to established service standards.
* Supervising staff, prioritizing and allocating work, and promoting positive staff morale and team working.
* Leading service planning by anticipating changing needs of the service and service users.
To be successful in this role, you will have a BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy, CORU registration, and at least 3 years' post-qualification experience as an OT. A collaborative, recovery-oriented approach and excellent clinical reasoning, communication and documentation skills are essential.
The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, prioritize tasks, and manage competing demands. You will also have strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support colleagues.
