Job Position: QCL Laboratory Technician

This is a full‑time, permanent position. Working a 39‑hour week: Monday–Thursday 08:00–17:00 and Friday 08:00–16:00.
As a QCL Laboratory Technician, you will serve as a member of the Eurofins QCL group within the client environment to support technical and analytical tasks, maintaining the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
Responsibilities
Verify and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure balances, pipettes, and other instruments remain accurate and compliant.
Prepare chemical reagents according to laboratory requirements, supporting consistent and reliable testing.
Maintain laboratory cleanliness by cleaning equipment, sanitising work areas, and keeping both visible and hidden spaces tidy.
Manage laboratory stock and logistics through replenishing consumables, ordering supplies, and preparing shipments and documentation for external testing.
Support laboratory operations and colleagues by providing general assistance across labs and helping team members as needed.
Uphold Eurofins standards by completing documentation accurately, following safety and quality procedures, and ensuring customer requirements are fully met.
Qualifications
Hold a relevant qualification such as an NCEA certificate in a related discipline or an administrative qualification.
Have laboratory housekeeping experience, ideally in a GMP‑regulated facility.
Hold GMP knowledge; prior GMP experience is highly advantageous.
Have strong teamwork skills enabling effective collaboration across laboratory and operational teams.
Have strong communication abilities for clear interaction with colleagues, stakeholders, and external partners.
Possess the professionalism required for Eurofins standards.
