An established financial services firm is seeking a Senior Fund Operations Analyst to support its fund operations and finance functions. The role involves managing accounts payable, payroll funding, and bank reconciliations across multiple jurisdictions.
Responsibilities of the Senior Fund Operations Analyst Job:
The successful candidate will have strong financial operations experience, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams, external service providers, and fund custodians.
Fund Accounts Payable
* Review, code, and obtain approval for invoices.
* Allocate and communicate invoice amounts to fund custodians and internal teams.
* Review fee and expense calculations provided by third-party service providers for accuracy.
* Research and respond to vendor inquiries regarding outstanding invoices.
* Distribute quarterly licensing fee calculations for approval.
* Process out-of-pocket expense reimbursements for board members.
* Translate invoices into English where required.
* Prepare and obtain approval for monthly advisory fees payable by UCITS funds.
* Coordinate the payment of urgent expenses for launching and passporting UCITS in various countries.
Payroll Funding
* Process direct payments to employees across multiple countries, including payments to tax authorities and social insurance providers.
* Support Human Resources with employee changes related to benefits, health insurance, pension, expense reimbursement, and monthly payroll.
* Monitor daily account activity.
* Record bank transactions in internal financial applications.
* Distribute monthly statements and provide support to internal staff and service providers.
Qualifications
Required
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
* High degree of initiative.
Preferred
* Associate’s degree or higher in a business-related field.
* 5–10 years of accounts payable or financial operations experience, preferably within asset management or fund administration.
