Key Accountant Role Overview
The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounts and payroll processes. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge as a Part Qualified Accountant With Payroll.
Job Description:
* Preparation of weekly/bi-weekly/monthly payroll, including calculation of gross pay, overtime, deductions, reconciliations, journals, accruals, queries etc.
* Process any compensation and benefits changes e.g. salary adjustments, back-pay, monitoring dates as appropriate.
* Calculate and arrange additional payments, e.g. pension, health insurance, car allowances, bonus runs etc. as required.
* Complete all appropriate documentation for tax, social welfare authorities and employees, including year-end payroll administration.
* Completion of invoicing, bank reconciliations, supplier payments, revenue returns, Producing finance reports and analysis as required.
* General administration duties as required.
* Credit Control.
* Maintain accounting documents and records.
* General Finance administration.
* File PAYE/VAT Returns.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Part Qualified Accountant status (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA, etc.) or equivalent experience.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and knowledge of / willingness to learn payroll processes.
* Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
* Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
