Job Opportunity: Senior Physiotherapist - Acute Setting
Location: Gorey, Co. Wexford
Contract: Full-Time (Temporary)
We are inviting applications for the role of Senior Physiotherapist to join our dedicated team in an acute care setting in Gorey. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated physiotherapist to provide high-quality patient care within a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver expert physiotherapy assessment and intervention for a wide range of acute medical and surgical conditions
2. Lead and support junior physiotherapy staff and students
3. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated patient care
4. Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives
5. Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records in line with professional standards
Minimum Requirements:
1. Recognised Degree in Physiotherapy
2. CORU registration as a Physiotherapist
3. Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, with relevant experience in an acute hospital setting
4. Proven clinical expertise and strong decision-making skills
5. Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
6. Experience in supervision and mentoring
