We are partnering with a multi‑national medical device client in Galway to support with hiring a Senior Project Engineer to lead key initiatives across manufacturing, sustaining engineering and product lifecycle management. This role offers the opportunity to deliver impactful projects while working cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced, high‑performance setting. This is an initial 18 month contract role and is based onsite.
Responsibilities
Manage multiple projects with defined plans, timelines, and deliverables.
Support sustaining engineering and day‑to‑day manufacturing operations.
Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing and supply processes.
Collaborate with operations, quality, R&D, and supply chain to resolve issues and deliver project goals.
Influence stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful execution.
Execute and adapt project plans in line with changing business needs.
Support post‑market, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Apply structured problem‑solving techniques, including Lean and Six Sigma.
Requirements
Level 8 degree or higher in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
Experience in project engineering within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Strong project management, organisational, and problem‑solving skills.
Effective communication and ability to work across cross‑functional teams.
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is desirable.
