Security Officer
Location: Dublin 15, Blanchardstown
Salary: €15.41 per hour
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and the public, delivering a professional and courteous service.
* Manage internal security operations, including access control, CCTV monitoring, and liaison with external security teams.
* Respond to emergencies, including fire and bomb alerts, ensuring effective communication and safety protocols are followed.
* Conduct building patrols, manage key control, and maintain visitor logs.
* Assist contractors and visitors, ensuring adherence to site procedures.
* Operate and monitor CCTV, alarms, and radio systems.
* Oversee fire evacuation procedures, acting as Fire Warden, and provide First Aid assistance when required.
* Maintain accurate records, incident reports, and compliance with Health & Safety protocols.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
* Valid PSA licence.
* Good standard of general education.
* Minimum of 1 years\' experience in a similar role.
* Strong communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Desirable:
* First Aid and Fire Warden qualifications.
* PC literacy in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
