What you need to know Our client, a leading manufacturing company are looking to recruit a HR Managerto join their team based in Co. Longford.The role is HR focused with support to payroll its a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. This is apermanent position,working Monday to Friday, fully onsite. Your new job HR and Payroll Responsibilities: Develop and execute recruitment strategies, manage job postings, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews. Oversee new employee onboarding, ensuring documentation like contracts, handbooks, and safety statements are prepared (Timepoint software used). Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, mediating workplace conflicts and implementing disciplinary actions when needed. Foster a positive, inclusive work environment and support employee well-being. Identify training needs and implement development programs, ensuring training records are maintained in BoxCore. Process monthly and biweekly wages, while maintaining accurate payroll records. Manage and update employee contracts, reflecting any changes in pay or terms. Maintain accurate employee records, including leave, sick days, and other HR-related data. Handle day-to-day HR administration duties and maintain HR databases. Order and manage IT equipment, reporting issues to external IT providers as necessary. Support accounts and finance tasks such as credit card posting, purchasing, invoicing, and processing bank payments/RCT. HR and Payroll requirements A degree in Human Resources or a CIPD qualification. Payroll experience is required. At least 2 years of experience in HR and payroll within a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite. Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
