Assembly Systems Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Assembly Systems Engineer to optimize our automated assembly processes.
This role focuses on designing, integrating, and maintaining automated systems for plastic components in an injection moulding environment, promoting efficiency and quality.
* Design, integrate, and maintain automated assembly systems for plastic components (including springs and magnets).
* Collaborate with tooling and molding teams to ensure seamless automation integration and process optimization.
* Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for automation equipment to minimize downtime.
* Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues through analytical problem-solving and technical expertise.
* Manage vendor relationships for automation equipment sourcing and FAT/SAT processes to ensure compliance and quality.
* Support validation activities including IQ/OQ/PQ for automated systems to guarantee accuracy and reliability.
* Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall system performance.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PLC programming, HMI interfaces, and basic robotics, as well as familiarity with vision systems and mechanical assembly automation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a willingness to learn new technologies are essential for success in this role.
