Job Title: Site Operations Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising site works, liaising with staff and sub-contractors, and ensuring all site activities are coordinated effectively.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills. They will also possess a working knowledge of conditions of contracts and proficiency in PC skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the purchasing and acquisition of BOQ items, including labour, parts and materials.
* Timeline planning of civil & MEICA installations from contract award to completion and handover of documentation.
* Coordinate site labour for projects.
* Support the completion of projects on time and within budget.
* Writing engineering reports, method statements and commissioning schedules.
* Management of Health & Safety documentation and enforcement of safe work practices onsite.
* Ensure technical assessments are completed as required and technical issues are resolved without delay.
* Manage submittals through the approvals process, track procurement and delivery of equipment, and complete receipt verification.
* Liaise with the design team and supply chain to ensure systems comply with specifications and drawings.
* Attend quality meetings and participate in QA/QC walk downs when required.
* Evaluate RFI responses to ensure no engineering issues.
* Review and answer technical queries from site regarding specifications, drawings, materials, and equipment.
* Ensure site supervisors work off latest drawings at all times.
* Issue requisitions and ensure materials delivered are as per specifications and submittals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Third-level Civil or Mechanical Engineering degree.
* 3+ years experience in a similar role.
* Full EU/ Irish driving licence.
