Location: Monaghan (5 days on site)
The Sales Account Manager will play a key role in driving revenue growth by managing and expanding relationships with key accounts in the retail and foodservice sectors. This role is responsible for maintaining high levels of client satisfaction, identifying and developing new business opportunities within existing accounts, and consistently achieving sales targets in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams to ensure that client needs are met effectively, while also fostering long-term partnerships that support sustained business growth.
What does my day to day look like?
* Manage and grow key retail food accounts across the UK and Europe.
* Build long-term relationships to drive retention and customer satisfaction.
* Deliver and exceed sales targets, KPIs, and revenue goals.
* Develop strategic account plans to unlock new opportunities.
* Support and implement export growth strategies.
* Collaborate with marketing and product teams on tailored solutions.
* Monitor market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity.
* Lead contract negotiations in line with company policies.
* Work cross-functionally to ensure seamless sales execution.
* Provide regular sales forecasts and pipeline updates.
* Represent the brand at industry events and customer meetings.
What the requirements does the ideal candidate have?
* Proven success in B2B sales and account management within the food or FMCG sector
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or related field
* 3–5 years of industry experience, including work with R&D, operations, and quality teams
* Skilled in negotiation, deal closing, and strategic client relationship building
* Strong analytical ability to translate sales data and market trends into actionable strategies
* Excellent communicator with standout interpersonal and collaboration skills
* Proficient in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office; highly organized and deadline-driven
* Adaptable problem-solver, comfortable in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
* In-depth knowledge of food distribution channels and industry regulations
