**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Team Leader to join our Residential/Respite team. The successful candidate will provide leadership to staff and assist in the delivery of a quality client-focused service.
Salary: Starting from €44,397.12, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
Job Description:
The Team Leader will be responsible for facilitating and implementing a person-centered service that meets the needs, wishes, and requirements of clients. This includes supervising and supporting staff, ensuring the delivery of a quality service, and providing adequate staff cover.
Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership to staff on a daily basis in the facilitation and implementation of a person-centered service.
* Supervise and support staff by identifying their training needs and development requirements.
* Evaluate and improve the quality of the residential service through effective monitoring systems.
* Ensure adequate staff cover is provided and participate in rostering as necessary.
* Assist clients with independent living skills in accordance with individual support plans.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A third-level graduate in Health & Social Care or a related field.
* A minimum of three years of experience in a similar or related field, preferably in an accommodation-based setting.
* Experience and knowledge of Intellectual Disabilities/Mental Health difficulties and the HIQA process within residential settings.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational, and logistical skills.
