Accountant -Immediate Start Our client a leading educational body are seeking an accountant to support the day-to-day operations of treasury, tax, and financial governance functions. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Governance, Tax & Treasury, the role will be central to coordinating workflows, maintaining documentation, supporting compliance, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. This is a critical support position requiring excellent attention to detail, strong administrative and numerical skills, and the ability to work with discretion in a finance environment. It is particularly suited to those with experience in finance, tax administration, or risk and compliance seeking to expand their expertise. This role is initially being offered on a temporary basis and requires an immediate start. Key Responsibilities include: Monitoring cash balances, preparing treasury and liquidity reports, and supporting cashflow forecasting. Maintaining tax records, supporting compliance submissions, and liaising with external advisors. Assisting with governance processes, risk registers, policy updates, and audit preparation. Coordinating reports for committees, maintaining accurate records, and supporting internal communications. KeyRequirements: Qualified/Part Qualified Accountant. 45 years relevant professional experience in finance Strong technical accounting skills, with experience in large-scale financial systems.
