Job Purpose:To work as a key member of the Emerging Business team in attracting and securing high quality jobs and investments. Supporting the Global Team to deliver on investment targets. Supporting the Department Manager, Project Managers and Project Executives in a range of marketing & administrative functions.Key Tasks:To provide a high quality and efficient administrative service to the Emerging Business Team (including diary management, events, logistics, marketing materials and CRM data)To work with Project Executives and Department Management to gather key metrics and data related to organisational performance and to ensure that such activities are performedTo help prepare for meetings for the Divisional Manager and the Department Manager by assembling briefing material as required from team members, booking meeting rooms, communicating with meeting attendees, and arranging catering as requiredTo help prepare high quality presentations and other marketing material;To assist the Division with day-to-day administration such as draft letters of support for IDA clients requesting visas and green cards and other mattersTo ensure dignity, respect and equality are applied throughout the organisation and that a work life balance in the workplace is supported as much as possible;To ensure that continuous learning and development is undertaken through informal and formal learning and participation in the Performance Management and Development Review Process;Ensure that IDA's EIRE values; Enterprising, Inclusive, Resourceful, and Empowering are promoted and upheld at all times;To demonstrate flexibility in undertaking additional tasks as may be assigned.Key CompetenciesClient Focused Relationship BuildingNegotiation & InfluencingCommunications & Personal EffectivenessProject ManagementCreativity and InnovationAdditional Requirements:In depth knowledge of Microsoft computer packages, proficiency and experience in the use of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential together with the ability to use social media platforms;A third level qualification, or currently working towards a higher education qualification is desirable;Ongoing flexibility and interest in career progression and development via opportunities, which may arise in IDA's offices in Ireland and Overseas;Aspects of this role will require travel and working outside of normal office hours.A full driving license is desirableSalary Scale:€27,577 to €45,479 per annum contributory superannuation.Rising by long service increments to €46,789 (after 3 years satisfactory service at the maximum of the range) & €48,116 (after 6 years satisfactory service at the maximum of the range)Non Negotiable to start at the minimum of the scale.
