R&D Engineering Manager
Role:
Lead and scale a multidisciplinary engineering team (hardware, software, mechanical) to deliver next-generation products from concept to mass production, ensuring technical excellence, process maturity, and alignment with company strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performance engineering team.
* Oversee end-to-end product development: concept → prototyping → validation → production.
* Ensure cross-disciplinary integration and technical oversight.
* Manage multiple projects, balancing scope, quality, cost, and timeline.
* Establish and refine engineering processes, methodologies, and metrics.
* Manage budgets, resources, and lab/test infrastructure.
* Communicate progress, risks, and strategy to senior stakeholders.
Experience & Skills:
* Bachelor's in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Software, or Mechatronics).
* 8+ years in product development; 5+ years in engineering leadership (30+ team members).
* Proven track record of taking products from concept to market.
* Strong leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
* Experience with manufacturing/NPI preferred.
