The Job
Provide advanced technical support for enterprise networking and security products as a TAC Engineer, isolating, diagnosing, reproducing, and resolving issues promptly.
Handle customer queries via phone, email, or virtual sessions, including regulated public‑sector and enterprise accounts.
Reproduce issues in lab environments and deliver timely solutions with regular updates, recommendations, and action plans.
Escalate cases per procedures, leveraging knowledge bases, experts, and tools for effective resolutions.
Author technical documentation and knowledge base articles to contribute to knowledge‑sharing.
Participate in discussions to share best practices and master emerging technologies within a specialization.
Collaborate with engineering teams to solve complex problems.
Act as primary contact for strategic or regulated accounts, managing high‑severity escalations with urgency and professionalism.
Have You
EU citizenship and legal work authorization in the EU, meeting eligibility for sovereign/regulated environments.
Bachelor's in Computer Science/Engineering or related field with 8+ years relevant experience (6+ in enterprise support), or Master's with 6+ years enterprise support.
6 years in Networking Security.
Fluency in English (written/verbal) with strong interpersonal skills for high‑stress situations.
Proven ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies in customer‑facing roles.
Strong logical problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills for network issues across L2‑L7 layers.
Willingness to work weekends/holidays as needed.
Deep knowledge of core networking, virtualization, container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and security fundamentals.
Expertise in L2/L3 protocols (TCP, UDP, ARP, DHCP, ICMP, IPv4/IPv6, VLANs), OSI model, SSL, HTTP, proxies, and related technologies.
Hands‑on experience with Palo Alto, F5 Load Balancers or similar, firewalls, software‑defined networking, and tools like Wireshark for packet analysis.
CCNA or CCNP certifications required, plus experience as a TAC Engineer.
