Marketing Manager
Location: Arklow, Co. Wicklow | Perm -fully onsite
Salary: €55K
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager from the hospitality sector to lead the sales, marketing, revenue, and events strategy for a well-established hotel in Wicklow. You will manage a small team (Wedding & Events, Revenue, and Reservations) and play a key role in driving business growth, brand positioning, and market presence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and deliver the annual marketing & sales strategy and budget.
2. Lead and motivate the sales, marketing, and revenue teams to achieve growth targets.
3. Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, client visits, and FAM trips.
4. Identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of market trends.
5. Manage relationships with external partners including PR, travel networks, and digital marketing.
6. Oversee brand positioning and ensure consistency across all channels.
7. Report on sales, marketing, and revenue performance.
Requirements
8. 5+ years' experience in a senior marketing role within the hotel/hospitality sector (essential).
9. Strong knowledge of luxury hospitality practices and revenue management.
10. Proven leadership and team management skills.
11. Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational abilities.
12. Flexible to travel for business development and client engagement.
13. Must have a valid driving licence.
14. Experience with Hotsoft is an advantage.
