DesignBuild Search are working with one of Irelands leading contractors. Due to successfully winning several large projects they have an opening for a residential Commercial Manager. The successful applicant will be working on various projects throughout Dubllin. In this position you will be managing all commercial aspects of the project whilst working in tandem with the project management and projects director. Requirements: Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying 15+ years with a main contactor Large scale residential experience Key responsibilities: Implement commercial strategy Overseeing the commercial team whilst supporting the Senior Commercial Manager in the delivery of key responsibilities and develop their knowledge through training, development and support Supervise the preparation of Cost Plans for complex projects, using a range of cost planning techniques and software, managing the compilation of data to permit various analyses Prepare long term cash forecasts for complex projects, monitors results and interpret reasons for deviations, using established techniques to minimise outflow of cash and maximise inflow Identify unacceptable terms and conditions and negotiate contracts with clients and employers Skills: Quantity Surveying cost manager commercial manager constructionc cost BOQ
