About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Care Worker to join our well-established service in the Galway region. Our service aims to empower individuals with intellectual disabilities, enabling them to live fulfilling lives as equal citizens within their communities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support individuals with day-to-day activities, promoting independence and engagement in meaningful activities.
* Build positive relationships with both individuals and staff members.
* Assist with general upkeep of residential services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A minimum QQI Level 7 in Social Care or related field, or registration with CORU.
* At least one year's experience working with adults with complex needs.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A calm and empathetic approach.
* A full clean driver's license.
