Job Role Overview
As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in leading the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process for large-scale Renewable Energy projects. This entails delivering comprehensive Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIARs) and Appropriate Assessments/Natura Impact Statements (AA/NIS).
Your responsibilities will include providing expert environmental guidance to support the Planning Team and informing strategic business decisions, ensuring compliance with planning and environmental regulations.
To excel in this position, you will need to stay abreast of changes in planning/environmental legislation, policies, and development plans. You will contribute to company submissions as required and assist the Stakeholder and Advocacy team in developing communication and consultation strategies with local communities and stakeholders.
You will be responsible for preparing specifications for third-party services and assisting in procurement processes. Additionally, you will ensure adherence to Health & Safety and Environmental policies, as well as relevant EU and National regulations.
Mentoring and supporting junior staff, particularly in EIA and Appropriate Assessment processes, is also an essential aspect of this role. Furthermore, you will participate in performance management to achieve team objectives.
