The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in ICT sales, with a strong understanding of corporate client needs and market trends.
Responsibilities:
* New Business Development: Identify and engage prospective clients, converting them into long-term customers.
* Account Growth & Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key IT procurement decision-makers.
* Sales & Market Strategy: Leverage leads from marketing campaigns, dormant accounts, and cross-sell opportunities, while sourcing new leads through professional networks.
* Solution Selling: Collaborate with technical teams to tailor ICT solutions that meet customer needs.
* Proposal & Tender Management: Prepare detailed quotations, tenders, and proposals for new business opportunities.
* CRM & Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate customer records in CRM/PSA systems and ensure a structured sales approach.
* Customer Engagement: Attend client meetings, industry networking events, and training sessions.
* Sales Performance & Commercial Awareness: Demonstrate strong business acumen, working towards individual and team sales targets.
* Compliance & Security: Adhere to data protection and information security protocols.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in ICT Managed Services sales (ideally with a service provider or reseller).
* Third-level qualification (Bachelor's degree or equivalent) preferred.
* Vendor Certifications (HPE, Microsoft, Sophos, Datto) are essential, or willingness to achieve these within 12 months.
* Proven ability to engage senior IT decision-makers and navigate complex sales cycles.
* Strong IT skills, including CRM experience and professional report writing.
* Full, clean manual driver's licence valid in Ireland.
