This role sits at the intersection offrontend engineering, product experience, and platform modernization, and will play a critical role in shaping the future of a core, user-facing application used within regulated, high-impact environments.
This is ahands-on frontend engineering role. You will bridge product vision and engineering execution, translating design systems and user requirements into scalable, performant, and maintainable frontend solutions while working closely with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Professional experience with a modern JavaScript web framework/library – 4-5yrs +.
Experienced in writing automated unit and integration tests.
Professional experience using Git.
Excellent JavaScript concepts knowledge (ES5, ES6+).
Excellent understanding of HTML and CSS.
Experience with web package bundlers (Webpack, Lerna, Rollup).
A team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Positive and solution-oriented mindset.
Nice to have
Working knowledge of React 16+
Experience with Behaviour Driven Development
Experience with Node.js
Experience with containerisation
Responsibilities
Develop features and iterate on codebase in a manner that is secure, well-tested and performant.
