Role Overview The National Fleet Manager is responsible for leading and growing Hyundais fleet and business-to-business (B2 B) sales across Ireland.
This role will develop and execute the national fleet strategy, build strong relationships with key corporate, leasing and public sector customers, and work closely with the dealer network to maximize fleet performance, profitability and brand presence.
The successful candidate will bring strong automotive industry experience, with a particular understanding of the fleet sector, and will play a key role in strengthening Hyundais position in the Irish fleet market.
Key Responsibilities Fleet Strategy & Sales Develop and implement a national fleet sales strategy aligned with Hyundai Cars Irelands overall commercial objectives Drive fleet volume, revenue and market share across corporate, SME, leasing, rental and public sector channels Identify new business opportunities while maximizing existing fleet account performance Key Account Management Manage and grow relationships with national and key regional fleet customers, leasing companies and mobility partners Lead contract negotiations, pricing agreements and tender submissions in line with company guidelines Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention and long-term partnership development Dealer Network Support Work closely with the Hyundai dealer network to support and grow local fleet sales activity Provide guidance, training and best-practice tools to dealers to enhance fleet capability Act as the central point of contact between dealers and Hyundai Cars Ireland for fleet-related matters Product, Pricing & Market Insight Collaborate with product, marketing and Sales teams to ensure competitive and relevant fleet propositions Monitor competitor activity, market trends, taxation and regulatory changes impacting the fleet sector Support the positioning and growth of Hyundais electric and low-emission vehicle range within fleet channels Reporting & Performance Management Track fleet performance against agreed targets, budgets and KPIs Prepare regular performance reports, forecasts and business reviews for senior management Ensure compliance with internal processes, governance standards and brand guidelines Skills & Experience Proven experience within the automotive sector Demonstrable understanding and hands-on experience of the fleet sector of the automotive industry Strong commercial acumen with a successful track record in B2 B or fleet sales Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills Full clean driving license and willingness to travel nationwide Experience working with franchised dealer networks Knowledge of fleet electrification, EVs, hybrids and total cost of ownership analysis Understanding of Irish fleet taxation and procurement processes Personal Attributes Strategic, commercially minded and results-driven Confident and credible when engaging with senior decision-makers Highly organized with strong analytical and planning skills Self-motivated and comfortable operating in a national role Salary & Benefits Attractive salary package in line with experience Performance-related KPI bonus Company car Laptop and mobile phone Why Hyundai Cars Ireland?
