Job Description:
Who are we? We host Amazon’s websites, including all global marketplaces, partner portals, and consumer experiences like Kindle, Alexa, Amazon Video, Mobile Applications, Physical Stores, Luna, and more. We ensure that all transactions—payments, tax, contracts, returns, inventory, notifications—are processed error-free, and we facilitate innovative experiences.
In short, we perform cloud infrastructure management at scale.
Our diverse international team comprises engineers, developers, administrators, and managers. We focus on operational quality, security, cost reduction, availability, and maintaining Amazon’s extensive eCommerce infrastructure.
Our offices are located in Dublin, Seattle, New York, Sydney, Bangalore, and Hyderabad.
We are seeking Systems Development Engineers who are inventive, understand operational excellence, and can work to scale.
A significant part of our work involves creating and updating strategic SRE toolkits based on AWS technology. These tools help deploy, monitor, and operate hundreds of thousands of services across Amazon’s highly distributed architecture. Our tools include orchestration, predictive analytics, monitoring, problem diagnosis, and automated repair, enabling intelligent traffic management to ensure customer satisfaction.
